Mars, The Broken World: The Search for La Peace is a semi-ironic story about the remnants of a planet-spanning company searching for the valuable La Peace ore, which will restore order and justice to the planet and end all wars forever. The Search for La Peace takes place in an alternate universe of the Into The TPOTGverse: Autism Blast world by LonelyFoxSnakeThing, in which the CART incident never happens and Mars Co. collapses into various warlord states due to the depletion of La Peace. This story will heavily draw on whatever my literature/media interests are at the moment, so don't be surprised if a chapter on a Helldivers-esque regiment is followed up by a Trojan War-esque conflict in some random city.
The main character and narrator is Franz, and that's all you'll really need to know for characters since each chapter will most likely be a revolving door of characters that will either return not very frequently or never again. I really don't know if I want this story to be extremely serious, so at times it may feel ironic and unserious, other times not.
Terms to know:
- TPOTG: Stands for The Place of The Gang. I really don't know how to describe all the terms it can encompass easily so just look at any other story with the 'TPOTG' tag.
- Mars Company: Usually shortened to Mars Co., the former and now defunct entity which held control over the entirety of the planet.
- Vulpes Corporation: A business on Earth aligned with the TPOTG nation that handles intergalactic trade.
- Venus Incorporated: Usually shortened to Venus Inc., the former antagonist of Mars Co. before the Martian descent into civil war.
This is gonna be the worst work on AO3.
