Summary
Garrick Tavis never could figure out why, one day late in college, Imogen Cardulo seemed to suddenly hate him. Or why he never seemed to fly with her, despite being on the same plane, in the same base. But then, the universe gifted him one chance overtime trip where she would be his FO ... and he was determined to learn the reasons why. Why he's apparently on her no-fly list. Why their friendship ended.
And maybe why he's never been able to get her out of his head.
As for Imogen? She definitely has her reasons for avoiding the man ... protecting her heart being the main one.

Violet pauses at her door handle. "Does it say who you're flying with?"
"Shit, I didn't even check. Hang on." Imogen goes back into the app. She reads the name and the color drains out of her face.
"Im?" Imogen looks up to see the concerned face of her friend. "Are you okay?"
"No," she grits out, "because I'm flying with Garrick fucking Tavis."
