Summary:
MAX: Okay, Hawkins! You all know the drill by now: get as many able people tuned in as possible, just in case of any emergencies. If you're out on a patrol, you should be checking in with your nearest Cerebro operator — [muffled protest from ROBIN] — sor-ree, radio tower operator every half-hour with your co-ordinates and status. The frequency is six point one seven five. Again that is six point one seven five. My less fun co-hosts would like me to remind everyone that this frequency has been generously allocated to us for emergency use only by the fairy godmothers on high, so don't fuck around on there.
Now, let's pick up the pace with some music that won't make you want to hang yourself! You all know this next track isn't my absolute favourite, but it's definitely a close second. Hit it, Katie!

so excited to finally set this free into the big wide world! this was my first major fandom challenge and while the road to finishing it was rocky, i’m super happy with the results! of course none of this would be possible without my incredibly talented partner in crime, neu, who has a brilliant attention to detail, prosaic panache, and the patience of a saint. hope you enjoy~

phew! editing this was a challenge and a half, but i feel like it’s fairly convincing. as any regular listeners know, i love including songs in my podfics, so it was especially cool to integrate them into the story :) won’t be posting the links like i usually do because there’s like, 20 of them, but in the author’s notes of the OG fic neu includes the list of longs and very lovely commentary! (psst i know the cover title is wrong [SORRY NEU] i just don't have time to redo it and do all the coding wizardry to embed it again, but i still think it came out really cool!)
alright, everyone say thank you neuuuu <3 it was so special to podfic something that was so perfectly tailored to me, i truly feel so spoiled. i’m also itching to do more max POV podfics now! It was kind of nice to act in my natural range for once and i just love her as a character.
and finally, thank you to the creators and mods of Pod Together 2026 for organizing this behemoth of a fandom event! y’all are crushing it, seriously
