Chapter Text
“Truth or dare”someone asks me, I don’t recognize her but whatever. “truth” I say halfheartedly, it doesn’t matter anyway if it’s too sensitive I’ll just lie. “Who your crush!” The girl asked giggling. Of course, the most cliche question when it comes to truth and dare, I won’t have to lie at least. “No one, I don’t have a crush.” I respond, short and sweet and 100% the truth, to bad no one will believe me. Everyone is laughing at this point including me, though I think they’re laughing at me. “Liar, everyone has a crush just tell us, we won’t tell anyone!” The girl exclaimed. God, this is so juvenile. Yeah you won’t tell anyone because everyone’s here! I think for a beat
then ultimately decide what I’m going to do.
“Fine you’re right” I lie “I do like someone, but you don’t know them.” The lie hurts, I know what this is going to lead to but I didn’t have the energy to argue about my honesty. “What’s his name!” One girl shouts, she looks familiar, god why don’t I know anyone, why am I even here. “That’s a question for an another day” I respond. “Isn’t it my turn to ask a q-question” I stutter, so pathetic why can’t I just be normal for once! I ask a brunette” truth or dare” I say, “dare” she challenges. Fuck I don’t know what to do. Should I go cliche? Should I go creative? In the end my anxiety wins and I choose the mundane dare.
“Um, I dare you to..” I don’t know his name, why don’t I know anyone! Where is she why would she just ghost me here. “Kiss the guy next to you, sorry dunno your name” I rush the words to the point I have to repeat myself. It was embarrassing but the drama that happened after completely took the attention off of me,( how was I supposed to know that was her ex!) part of me wished I hadn’t chose that dare, watching them kiss was disgusting, why do people even like kissing?
Truth and dare went on for 2. more. Hours . It went through the same cycle, I’d answer some bullshit, stare at unfamiliar faces and search for the one I knew.
Little did Sakura know, she would never see that familiar face again.
