Summary
When Viktor falls into a coma, Jayce's life grinds to a stop.
He incrementally sacrifices everything, including his own health, to stay by his partner's side: wasting away his days reading children's storybooks to Viktor in attempts to rouse him. Others beg him to tend to reality and Hextech, but his focus becomes narrowly fixated on either finding a cure for Viktor; or at least, staying glued by his side to the bitter end.
As months bleed to years, Jayce's waking world blurs & bends into a living nightmare that blends with the elaborate, ethereal world he encounters in his dreams. Consumed by grief and desperation, can he find a way to save Viktor, all while balancing demanding dual lives; keeping up a facade of sanity in both; and searching for some elusive "treasure" that the aloof, mysterious King who haunts his sleep enlists Jayce's help to find? Can he convince everyone to give him a little more time to bring Viktor back; and could this "treasure" somehow lead him to a cure for Viktor?
Most importantly—can Jayce decipher where the line between reality and dreams lay?
