Chapter Text
Steven was sitting in the beach while the sun was rising and a cup in his hand. It had been a long since he actually had breakfast outside the temple and maybe he should do it more often now that there was nothing else to do and no problems. He took a sip, but his peace was disturbed by Amethyst. "Dude! you really need to see this" She said making him flinch. What happened?
"What!?" he asked turning to look at her, his grip on the cup tightening. That was weird. "Well...it's better if you see it" she replied rubbing the back of her neck and he nodded, finishing the content of the cup in one gulp. "Let's go" He got up and the both started running.
The curly haired boy frowned. It was impossible, there wasn't any more threats that he knew. He was the one to solve everything...He shook his head. "I have to ask...is it that bad?" he looked at the gem. "Eh...no, it's...weird" she answered. "You'll understand" she added and the both kept running. Weird...? How weird...?
They arrived to the shore, where the rest gems were standing in a semicircle as if they were inspecting something. "I'm here, what is it?" the hybrid announced himself and instead of responding they just parted leaving a path for him to see what they were covering and what he saw shocked him. His younger self was laying on the sand, apparently unconscious.
His eyes widened and his mouth opened slightly. How...? He took a small step forward. This was why it was weird. Why...? he had a lot of questions, but right now he should check if his past self was fine. "Why are you guys only standing there?!" he yelled and practically sprinted towards his other self. Then he knelt down to his level. He was breathing so he was fine.
he lifted his head. "Warm the rest, while i take him to the temple" he ordered and the others nodded and went in different directions. After that the older one picked his younger self up and started walking towards the temple. When he arrived there he entered his bedroom and laid his younger self on the bed. He probably had to figure out what was going on, but now safety was more important.
