   Summary

   Ryland Grace was good at what he did, and what he did was marine biology. However, after a near-death experience that left him questioning everything he had ever known, he found himself working at the very first sanctuary for merfolk. He hoped for a new start from those who hurt him, and he had gotten it. That was, however, until a mutated mer came along. Suddenly, Grace realised that he had never gotten a fresh start, and that he was now involved in something much bigger than himself.
