Summary
Agent has spent weeks pretending he doesn’t notice Intern—their footsteps, their ridiculous candy offerings, or the way every room feels emptier after they leave.
Then a locked supply closet leaves him with nowhere to retreat, and Intern finally says what Agent has been too frightened to admit.
One confession becomes a kiss. One kiss becomes something far more intimate. But when their shift ends and the hospital doors close behind them, Agent discovers that giving himself permission to want Intern was only the beginning.
