Ichigo Kurosaki doesn't believe in magic. Especially whatever that fraud Don Kanonji does on TV. What normal eleven year old boy still believes in that crap!? Just because he can change the channel on the TV with a blink of his eyes or shut doors from across the room does NOT mean he is magical. So what is up with the giant owl holding a letter to a new school for supposed witches and wizards? And why is the candy shop owner down the street giving him cryptic messages?
