He had packed up Yuri’s suitcase - without his knowledge - and dragged him to the airport without telling him where he was taking him. At first Yuri thought they were just going on the off season vacation he’d overheard Viktor prattling on about to Yakov and Lillia, but when he saw the destination was Japan, he’d tried to get away from the crazy coach to no avail.
So here he was, trapped in an old model hire car with the most optimistic and romantic man in all of Russia, driving to a small town in the middle of nowhere, Japan, to find his so-called ‘true love’.

Summary
Every now and then Yukio would do something different, try to break his routine, like he was doing now.
He had heard of increasingly frequent occurrences of people vanishing from Draíocht Beach. All of these were always followed by a legend that made him roll his eyes just recalling it. Evidently, the townspeople - who were all dull farmers and fishermen who were just this superstitious - believed there were kelpies snatching people up at night, dragging them into the ocean, and killing them.
Yukio didn’t know much about kelpies - just that it was a legend that involved horses that could turn into fish, or something like that.
Curiosity had gotten the best of Yukio, though, so he dressed himself in a comfortable sweatshirt and pants he had rolled up to his mid-calf. The air at night in October was cool, but he didn’t want the nightmare of getting sand out of shoes - or anywhere, really - so he slid on sandals before exiting his house and setting out to Draíocht Beach.

Ichigo opened his mouth to call bullshit, but then someone was clapping a hand on his shoulder. He glanced over quickly to find their friend Shuhei beside him, his new boyfriend Kira tucked under one arm. Shuhei looked almost irresistibly hot in black leather pants that fit like a second skin, black combat boots, a mesh shirt, a leather choker, and matching armbands around his biceps. Kira, by contrast, wore brown dress shoes, slim-fit khakis, and a blue button-down that was left unbuttoned enough to show off quite a bit of his surprisingly chiseled chest. Ichigo guessed he shouldn’t be surprised, Shu had always had good taste in guys. Case-in-point…

“What exactly is team training?” Yukio asked warily.
"Primarily, we work on skills and strategies that use both of our powers together to make stronger or more surprising attacks. Taicho and I have several such techniques. Toshiro has always been easy to work with though - once he finally got full control over his ridiculous amount of reiatsu. He nearly froze me several times, but fortunately my own reiatsu is fire-based and it was easy to fix. We also do trust exercises as a part of our training. Once we work well together, Toshiro will do the same with you. Then you'll train with our forth seat, and eventually the rest of the seated officers. It's important that, no matter how we're assigned, our seated officers can all work well together."
Yukio sighed heavily. Unfortunately, everything Matsumoto was saying made sense. As much as the woman drove him crazy, he did grudgingly accept that she was a good lieutenant. Minus her refusal to do paperwork. “Fine.” Yukio’s voice was flat and resigned, “What do I need to do?”
