“It’s normal to be nervous, then,” Riku tries, and that seems to help Daeyoung sit up a little straighter. “Like any new thing. You just have to do it, and then you’ll realize there was no reason to be nervous at all. Kissing isn’t such a big deal, you know.”
“You really think so?”
“I know so,” Riku says, and maybe it’s the way Daeyoung’s eyes flicker up to his, full of uncertainty where there is usually so much trust, and Riku is desperate to get that back. He has no other explanation – at least, not one he’s ready to consider – for why he says what he says next. “It’s nothing special. Honestly, Daeng, if you’re worried, I can help you practice that part, too.”
