   Summary

   Leo’s confident persona sagged, and Donnie steeled himself for an interaction far outside his comfort zone. “So…” He sighed. “Care to have a conversation about your feelings with a brother who most definitely understands them, he said, lying through his teeth?”
   Leo rubbed one hand against his bad knee. “It’s really stupid,” he said.
   “Well,” Donnie said, “as unfamiliar as I am with things of that nature, I shall do my best to hear you out.”
   No response at all to the quip. Something was definitely wrong.

   Or: One month after the invasion, Donnie wakes up to a scream coming from Leo's room. He goes to check on his brother, sparking a debrief between the twins about the invasion, the trauma it brought, and what it means to be a hero.
