   “You-!” The cookie cuts himself off, right around when Pure Vanilla starts hearing the distant sound of police sirens. “Uh- ahah… Say, you wouldn’t mind giving me a ride somewhere- right? Ugh… be a hero…?”

   Or: While driving home from the hospital after an argument with White Lily, Pure Vanilla accidentally hits a cookie with his car. This unfortunate incident leads to him unknowingly becoming a getaway driver for the runaway magical criminal named Shadow Milk. Upon arriving at Shadow Milk’s house, Pure Vanilla comes to realize that Shadow Milk may know something about White Lily’s strange ailment, so he refuses to leave until Shadow Milk gives him proper answers and a way to cure her. While Shadow Milk begrudgingly teaches Pure Vanilla about curses, he begins to reveal the tangled web of history behind magic and the carefully constructed society built to keep cookies powerless. As they search for a way to cure White Lily, Pure Vanilla and Shadow Milk begin to drift closer and closer, and they get tangled up in more than just forbidden hexes.
