    The admission settled over them, heavy like the air after a storm. Eddie felt his expression fall. Buck’s eyebrows furrowed as he dropped his gaze to the table. He tried to pull his hand out of Eddie’s, but Eddie just tightened his grip.

    “Baby,” he whispered.

    Buck sniffled. “I guess I should probably think about going back to therapy, huh?”
