   Summary

When Ilya Rozanov accepts the job offer as a Professor in Russian Literature in Montreal he swears to himself to never look back. Leaving Russia with his mothers last remaining belongings and making sure Alexei never dared to contact him again was the last act of his old life. Coming to Montreal, coming into Shane Hollanders bookbindery getting his mother's book repaired was the first act of his new one. Suddenly he has to deal with the daring challenge of being truly seen by a man who cares way too much about paper formats and asks too many questions.

or: Shane has a way with books and an eye for detail.
Ilya has a way with literature and an eye for freckles.
