    Madrid was supposed to be easy, or atleast, it was supposed to be fun. Oscar had felt better too, there had been pace in it. Enough pace that he'd gone into qualifying thinking a decent position was almost a certainty.

    Then Q3 happened—and the lap just…wasn't good enough. 

    So when Lando comes looking for him after qualifying, Oscar does what he has always done when things get too difficult. He pulls away.

    Lando, unfortunately, has never been very good at letting him go.
