Chapter 1: A Day for the Past

Chapter Text

I was four when my father first yelled at me, and six when he had first hit me as well. But I knew at five that they weren't like the other families I see.

They didn't hug me, wish me goodnight, happy about my grades. They never even said “I love you”.

I wasn't even allowed to leave the house until around seven when my parents got a call about me not being in school.

Though was I glad I was able to go to school. I was glad I got out of the house, honest. I never made friends either. Making friends was something I struggled with since I never had any social skills.

Then one day, my father got so drunk that even my mama had been hurt. I never been this injured though.

I remember mama trying to get out, but father wouldn't let her leave. Said she'd bring the cops. So I sat in my room that night in pain, while listening to them argue even more.

But little did I know.. it would only get worse from here.
