Summary
Johnny is dying, and there’s nothing Ponyboy can do about it. He’s not even dead, yet Ponyboy feels as though he’s already grieving. When that falling beam hit Johnny, Pony knew deep down that he would die. When his brothers cried with him in the waiting room, and when they took him home, and when he showered properly for the first time in a week, and when he woke up and made breakfast in the morning. He knew Johnny would die. He’s preparing for the rumble, and still knows that Johnny’s gonna die. Seeing Johnny earlier that day just affirmed what he already knew.

The painting on his wall is framed in simple wood. Nothing ornate, because Will had never liked ornate things. He used to say fancy frames distracted from the painting itself.
Mike reaches up slowly and pushes the glasses higher on his nose.
He knows what it looked like when Will was painting, hunched over the canvas, hair falling in his eyes, chewing the inside of his cheek while he worked like the act of putting color on a surface might somehow split him open.
His chest tightens, a sharp little twist beneath his ribs.
Maybe El didn’t like ornate things either, or maybe, she would have liked something big and gold. Or purple. Maybe a seventy thirty split of it, or maybe just nothing all together, no frame at all.
He doesn’t know.
He never asked, not once.
And Mike realizes with a strange, aching clarity, he’s going to die the same way she did. Unknown and unseen. Never properly loved the way he wanted to be.
or, Mike is in love with Will, and he's hit with the realization that if he were to die, no one would know.

Summary
“The Fates were furious. Not only had the gods continued to ignore their children, they had now also decided to turn a blind eye against what was happening. Gaea was rising and the gods’ solution was to shut down Olympus, leaving their children to fight a war they couldn’t possibly win without help.
There was one solution. A dangerous one, one that could not be taken lightly and would cause a lot of suffering, especially for one particular demigod.”Percy Jackson, along with a few of his friends gets sent back in time. To make matters worse, the fates have ordered them and the gods to read books, about his thoughts or else they won’t return to their timeline. Of course he’s furious, but, as the books progress and he sees the gods finally owning up to their own mistakes, he starts to wonder if there might be another reason as to why they were sent back in time, other than to embarrass him in front of his friends and family.
It’s another reading the books fic! I know it’s been done before, but if you’re like me and love this kind of stuff, then I guess you won’t care and eat it up as much as I do.
