A trans Regulus fic heavily inspired by I Saw The TV Glow as well as my own experience when I was trans (yes, was... it was a very intense time so of course I put Regulus through it...), and yes, I gave him a deadname, it was easier than using she/her pronouns and less confusing. It is entirely to portray him figuring himself out in the decade this story takes place in, and to have a clear distinction between him and other female characters, and not done with mean intent.
