Summary
In Avaris, everyone wears a Mask.
More than a symbol of identity, each Mask connects its wearer to the Veil—the unseen force woven through every corner of society. For generations, the Faith has taught that the Veil brings order, purpose, and harmony.v
Then the Masks begin to break.
Whispers no one else can hear. Memories that belong to strangers. Sudden violence from people who no longer seem entirely themselves. What begins as a handful of disturbing incidents soon points to something far more dangerous.
Drawn together by the growing crisis, Torian, Kaelith, Liora, Riven, Solyn, and Brim begin searching for answers.
Because something is stirring within the Veil.
And it may have been listening all along.Series
