Summary
Grief, Hermione learns, is not a straight line.
It is waking up and forgetting for half a second. It is a jumper that still smells like him, until one day it doesn’t. It is anger and guilt and bargaining with things that cannot hear you. It is getting better, and then getting worse. It is discovering that the world has kept turning even when yours has stopped.
And, eventually, it is learning that continuing to live is not the same thing as leaving someone behind.
