   Summary

For Neil, it started out small.

He would knock his racquet against the ground three times once he stepped onto the field. He wasn’t sure where or how it started, but everyone knew athletes had their weird rituals. Matt refused to wash his bandana for a whole season. Allison reapplied a fresh coat of lipstick on timeouts, without fail.
