Work Text:
One of the first things Angela learned about Vic Michaelis beyond their obvious talent and how down to earth they are was how little they care about being little.
They met through the comedy scene in LA and unlike most people who would wait until they got home or to be around a known caregiver, Vic would just drop backstage.
That's not to say Vic was unsafe or anything. They were always clear it was going to happen and made sure people were ok with it first, but they never seem to care where they are or who's around.
Angela's never watched them before, even if she has played with them while big after a show or in a bigger group. She knows how precocious and articulate they are, having seemingly endless wit even at only six years old.
She'd seen the chaos both big and little Vic could bring to a situation and that was in no way different to what was sure to happen now.
Because of labor laws, littles have to have more breaks during the day, including one long one. This is true for all little cast members of Smosh and when they can, production tries to line a few of the breaks up so they can play.
Today Vic is visiting for most of the day filming videos for various channels, meaning they have to take that long break.
When Angela had seen Vic on the schedule she was ecstatic, thrilled to get to work with one of her friends, but then she saw their long breaks were synced.
She doesn't have any particular schedule when it comes to dropping at work, but it is usually more likely to happen midweek as her big drop on Saturday gets further away.
With the combination of today being Wednesday and Amanda also being on her break with her, she knows regressing is almost inevitable. But what does she do about Vic?
Despite being much more comfortable at the office and around her friends from Smosh, she's never been little in front of any of her other friends before. She's never had a reason and is still uninterested in having more people know she's a little then already do.
But as she looks at Vic that morning when they get to the office, she realizes maybe she doesn't care as much as she thought she did.
“Angela!” Vic says excitedly as they head straight towards her, two coffees in hand, “You're on my long break, wanna fuck shit up?”
“In what way?” she asks back with an excited smile, taking the offered cup with a mumbled thank you.
Vic shrugs, “I always get into something,” they tell her proudly as they sit beside her, “Will you or Amanda be down to keep an eye on me or should I just stay big?”
Angela tries her best to not let her nerves show as she answers, “I’ll be busy,” she explains vaguely, only partially telling the truth, “I'd ask Amanda.”
“Ask me what?” the woman asks as she walks up, sitting on Angela's other side and kissing her, “Hey Vic.”
“Can you watch me if I drop on my break?” they ask hopefully, “Ang said she's busy.”
Amanda raises an eyebrow at her girlfriend, “Do you need my help?” she asks, attempting to be subtle, sighing when Angela shakes her head, “I can watch you.”
Vic smiles and the conversation shifts to news about their mutual friends and away from their break.

When their break does come, the second cut is called; it's like a switch is flipped. Vic grins cheekily at the other cast members, bouncing on their toes excitedly as they look around.
“So cool here,” they mumble under their breath before looking back at everyone, “Hi!”
Chanse huffs playfully, reaching over to ruffle their hair, “I'm missing out on playing with the tornado?” he whines childishly, running away when they start chasing him.
“Wait!” he calls behind him, using Tommy as a shield, “I can't drop, I'm in the next video.”
Vic pouts, but skids to a stop in front of them, “You're lame,” they grumble, sounding obviously younger but having the same tonal pattern and sarcasm as their adult self, “Amanda's cooler.”
He rolls his eyes, “I can't get into a fight about why you're wrong right now,” he tells them fondly, helping Amanda keep them still so their mic can be removed, “We can hang out at lunch ok?”
“Fine,” Vic agrees, accepting Amanda's hand begrudgingly and walking with her and Angela out of the stage and towards the little corner, “Know where I'm going,” they remind her, “Been here before.”
Amanda raises an eyebrow at them, “And would you run off?” she argues and they nod, no interest in even pretending they wouldn't, “And that's why.”
They pout, looking over at Angela curiously from where she's been silently watching, “Thought you were busy Ang.”
Angela stares at the little for a minute, pulled out of her head and actually looking at them, “Hey Vic,” she murmurs, happily accepting Amanda's other hand and squeezing it, “I was thinking I might stay to hang out.” she admits shakily.
Vic squints at her before shrugging, releasing Amanda's hand the second they get to the little area and beelining straight towards the toy box.
Their attention fully absorbed by whatever they're looking for, Amanda focuses on Angela. Her fists are at her sides, clenching and unclenching as she watches the little longingly.
“Ang,” she murmurs, pulling her girlfriend to sit beside her, “I bet Vic will love to play with you.”
She sighs, resting her head on Amanda's shoulder, “What if they don't? What if they make fun of me?”
“They make fun of Chansey because that's how they play,” Amanda reminds her, “Vic is a lot of things, but mean isn't one of them.”
Angela sighs, “I know,” she mumbles, allowing her girlfriend to pull her even closer, “I'll have fun, but I'm scared.”
“Done pretending you're not a little?” Vic asks mischievously, suddenly sitting on the floor in front of the couch as they play with a large maze cube.
“I don't-” Angela starts quickly but Vic cuts her off as they dramatically roll their eyes.
“It’s ok,” they assure her in a surprisingly serious tone, “Being little is cooler than being big, way more candy.”
Angela looks between the two of them contemplatively before sighing and climbing into Amanda's lap, burying her face in her neck.
“Mama's got you,” she murmurs, rubbing her back, “You and Vic are gonna have so much fun.”
“And eat candy,” they add, “I found and hid some.”
Amanda rolls her eyes, smiling at the proud expression on Vic's face, “You can have candy after lunch,” she agrees, gently rocking her.
Vic openly watches, “How old’s she?” they ask curiously, reaching out to poke Angela and stopping when Amanda shakes her head, “I'm older right?”
“She can also be six,” she half answers, humming reassuringly when she eventually hears a quiet whine in her ear, “Hi baby.”
Angela peeks her face out from her neck, happily accepting the kiss her caregiver places on her forehead. She glances nervously at Vic, hesitantly waving back when the other little waves.
“Hi baby,” they echo, giggling when Angela's nose scrunches adorably at the nickname, “Wanna play?”
“No baby,” she grumbles petulantly, leaning further into Amanda, “Mama time.”
Vic sighs, looking between the duo and the rest of the office, “Do that, then play?” they offer, grinning when Angela nods, “Wanna explore.”
“Adventure?” she asks, bouncing excitedly in Amanda's lap when Vic nods, “Adventure!”
Angela settles down and leans back into her caregiver, sighing happily when Amanda readjusts her to be cradled in her arms.
“Not a baby?” Vic asks sarcastically, giggling when the other little flips them off. They go drop their toy back into the box before clambering onto the couch beside the duo.
“Bleh!” they say playfully as they make a funny face from above Angela, smiling when she giggles, “Babies laugh easy.” they explain to Amanda, holding their hand towards the other little.
“No baby,” she mumbles under her breath as she takes their hand, contently playing with their fingers while she enjoys her quiet time with her mama.
The group sits in silence while Amanda gently rocks Angela and the little plays with Vic’s hand, but the peace is broken up by an indignant shout.
“Fingers aren't food,” Vic tells the other little as their fingers are pulled towards her mouth, huffing when Angela giggles at them, “You messin’ with me?”
Angela nods, wiggling to sit up in Amanda's lap, “Trick you!” she says proudly, still holding their hand in hers, “Play?”
Vic grins and stands to run off, but is stopped as Angela carefully climbs off the couch.
Amanda gently places a hand on their shoulder, pulling their attention towards her, “You've gotta be careful with Angie,” she tells Vic, pulling Angela's fingers out of her mouth, “Even when she's your age she's not as quick as you.”
They huff, looking over at the younger little critically, “She’s fine,” Vic asserts, patting Angela's head, “Big girl.”
“Big girl!” Angela echoes proudly, bouncing on her toes and not noticing Vic's obvious wink at Amanda, “Explore?”
They nod, leading the trio out of the little area and into the empty walkway, “Any good spots?” they ask Angela, glancing over at the long aisles of costumes and props.
She hums in thought, whining when Amanda pulls her fingers away before she can put them in her mouth, “Backpack closet.” Angela answers, tugging Vic's hand and running towards where all the little's emergency bags live, the other little easily keeping pace beside her while Amanda follows slowly behind.
Angela tugs the door open and scans over the bags, grinning at Vic when they find it before her and pick it up, “Thanks you!”
Vic places it in front of her and she quickly grabs a new soother Amanda had bought for her to try out. It's a pacifier made of the same material as a teether, so it's strong but not quite as good to suck on, perfect for the middle of her age range.
She studies it curiously before popping it into her mouth, sucking experimentally.
“That good bug?” Amanda asks, smiling when Angela nods, “Either of you want to change?”
They both shake their heads and Vic reaches forward and clips the teether to the other little's shirt, “Now we can explore,” they say, taking Angela's hand again and leading her towards the prop storage, "Find some treasure.”
“Treasure?” Angela questions as they walk over, eyes immediately locking in on the baby gate blocking off the art department, “Moose!”
She tugs at their hand and they relent, following her to the gate where the little points excitedly at a dog laying under a desk, “Is Moose.”
Vic immediately steps over the fence and turns to help Angela, freezing when they notice her looking up at Amanda for permission.
The caregiver chuckles, catching Erin's attention and getting a nod. She lifts Angela over the fence and she runs over to Moose while Vic is stopped by Amanda.
“Sorry,” they mutter, “No going into closed places.” they recite, one of the few rules little Vic has with their friends and colleagues in an attempt to not lose track of them.
“You're forgiven,” Amanda responds easily, “Moose is an exciting distraction, I just don't want you or Angela to get hurt.”
Reassured, Vic nods, turning to where Angela is running in circles with the dog and joining them.
The three run around the open space of the art department until Moose tires out and lays back down, a giggling Angela and Vic flopping down beside him.
“Good puppy,” Vic coos, rubbing his tummy, “Is he your friend?”
Angela nods, scratching behind his ears, “Moose.” she says happily, kissing his forehead before sliding her pacifier into her mouth to chew on.
“As adorable as you two look,” Amanda says, surprising the two littles who hadn't noticed her walk up, “There's only a little bit of time left before lunch if you still want to explore.”
“Explore!” Angela cheers, scrambling to her feet and holding her arms up so her mama will carry her over the fence.
Amanda does just that, carrying her to the edge and placing her on the other side before looking down at Vic, “Do you need help?”
They shake their head, easily stepping over the barrier and taking Angela's hand, “Bye!”
Vic runs off as fast as Angie can run, leaving Amanda behind with a quick cheeky smile over their shoulder as they head towards the props, Angela’s giggles echoing through the space.
Amanda follows behind them at a slow pace, the sound of giggles leading her to the bin of pillows, “A giggling pillow?” she asks playfully, poking at the side of the metal container where Angela’s shirt is visible.
“Where did my baby go?” she questions dramatically, smiling when the giggles get louder, “Is she in here?” she asks, voice increasing in volume as she pulls the pillows up to reveal Angie curled up beneath them.
“I pillow,” she tells her caregiver, “No baby here.”
Feigning confusion, Amanda picks her up and hugs her like she would a pillow, squeezing her lightly, “I guess you feel like a pillow,” she tells her, poking at the giggling girl’s tummy, “But I don't remember pillows talking.”
Amanda shrugs, placing her back in the bin, “I guess I'll leave the pillow here and go look for Angie and Vic somewhere else.”
“I Angie,” she tells her, proud of her supposed trick, “Not pillow.”
Her mama gasps, picking her back up and peppering her face with kisses, “I thought for sure you were,” she tells her as she places her to stand again, “Wanna help me find Vic? I bet they're hiding really well.”
Angela tilts her head in thought, pacifier working in her mouth as her eyes scan the shelves, “This way.” she says confidently, pointing towards the back corner of the room and running off.
She laughs and follows behind the little as she weaves through the various props, searching for her friend. Eventually she reaches the corner of the room and pouts up at Amanda.
“No find,” she mumbles, eyes still scanning around her, “Good hider.”
“They are,” Amanda agrees, lifting Angela into her arms, “Maybe a higher view will help.”
It takes a couple more minutes of searching until the caregiver sees part of their leg poking out on the top shelf of some prop storage, “I think we're close now,” she tells Angela, the little looking at where she's gesturing and scanning carefully.
With Angela still not able to find them, Amanda gives her another hint, “What's that?” she asks, pointing to where Vic's leg is showing.
Angela gasps excitedly when she finally spots them, giggling when the leg starts moving, “Vic!” she cheers, reaching towards them, “We found them!”
They poke their head out with a smile, making a funny face at Angela who starts giggling even louder.
With a small nod from Vic, Amanda pulls them onto her other hip to help them down from the top shelf. Angela grins and takes their hand, looking up at her mama in the hopes of being put down.
Amanda rolls her eyes fondly and places them both down, sighing when the two of them run off as she expected. “Go towards lunch!” she calls behind them, laughing when Vic gives her a thumbs up behind their back.
The two littles rush as quickly as Angie can run towards the cafeteria. But as they go past the studio door Angela is swiped up into someone's arms.
“Sissy!” Chanse yells excitedly, hugging the little to his chest before lowering her back to the ground, “Lunch?”
“Bubba!” she calls back, standing on her toes to kiss his cheek, “Vic too!”
Chanse nods as Angela takes both of their hands, “Hi tornado,” he says happily, “We tearin’ shit up?”
All the littles giggle as Vic nods, running off towards the cafeteria again and leaving Tommy and Amanda to follow behind them.
They all skid to a stop at the food line, the two older littles looking at Angela before looking at each other, “Sissy needs help,” Chanse mumbles under his breath, begrudgingly waiting for the two caregivers to catch up.
It doesn't take long for everyone to get food and sit down together at a table, a table that is quickly joined by Arasha.
“Tornado,” she says fondly before turning to Chanse and Angela, “Ace, Cutie. How's it going?”
“Ace?” he asks, nose scrunched, “Why am I Ace?”
Arasha shrugs, “I usually call Angie and Court cutie, but I didn't think you'd like it much. Ace is doing good at something, so you're ace because you're a cool kid. Unless you don't like-”
“I like it,” he says quickly, a slight blush dusting his cheeks. He turns his attention back to the other two littles, “If we eat fast we can play before we haveta age up.”
They both nod and Vic shovels their food into their mouth while Angela pushes her small serving of salad around the plate.
“Need help, little bee?” Tommy asks gently from across the table, gesturing to her plate, “I can help you while your mama is eating.”
Before she can answer, Vic who's on her left cuts in, “I can too,” they add, reaching over her to tap Chanse's shoulder, “And Chansey.”
Angela shrugs and opens her mouth, the three adults laughing when both littles lunge for the fork.
“Take turns,” Amanda tells them fondly as she stands, “I'm gonna go make her shake real quick, behave you two.” she adds playfully.
Both of them nod, Vic taking the fork and carefully moving a bite of salad into her mouth, “Yummy?”
She nods, signing ‘thank you’ as she chews before turning to Chanse for her next bite. The pattern repeats until the small amount of salad on the plate is gone.
“Chaos!” Vic cheers as Chanse helps Angela out of her chair, “Bye!” The three of them run off with Arasha happily following behind them, but before they can get far they're stopped by Amanda.
“Angie,” she calls and the four of them freeze and turn around, “I have your bottle.”
Angela hums happily, dragging the other littles back with her to get her drink. “Nap?” she asks confused, “Work soon.”
“I was going to ask. Do you wanna drink while you play instead of in my lap today?” Amanda offers, “So you don't fall asleep.”
“Please, thanks you mama,” she murmurs, moving forward to hug her and take the bottle, immediately tilting her head back to take a big sip. She turns back to the two littles and Arasha, “Chaos!”
“Chaos!” they echo back and they all run off again, heading towards prop storage again.
“What's the plan my little minions?” Arasha asks excitedly as Vic beelines towards a specific shelf. Her question is answered when they pull a bag of M&Ms from behind the Beopardy board.
“A candy heist!” she exclaims proudly “That's what Angie and I’s first mischief was,” Arasha explains, gratefully taking the small handful of candy.
“Baby want some?” Vic asks Angela kindly as she slowly drinks her bottle, giggling when Chanse reaches forward for more chocolates.
Angela hums and nods, taking the candy and dumping it in her mouth before quickly replacing the bottle.
“Did you know there's a couple scooters hidden back there?” Arasha asks conspiratorially, grinning when the two older littles eyes snap up to her, “I think they're behind the coffin.”
They both run off, leaving Arasha with a slowly fading Angela. She sits in one of the extra armchairs for the games set and pats her lap, “Come’re cutie,” she says gently, “I can see how sleepy you are.”
“Vic and bubba,” she mumbles through her bottle, pointing at the two littles that are now zooming towards them on their newly found scooters, “Chaos.”
“You can cause chaos from here,” Arasha assures the little, cheering internally when she climbs into her lap and allows her to hold the bottle, “How about you count the laps for a race?”
“Race?” she offers the other littles, grinning excitedly when they both nod, “Three, two, one, go!” she calls without prompting, giggling when they both race off in different directions.
“We forgot to design a track,” Arasha reminds her fondly, shuffling the little in her lap so she's still sitting up but has good flow from her bottle, “They're just off on a wild goose chase.”
Angela giggles again, resting her head on Arasha’s shoulder, “Bubba, Vic come back!” she calls out and the two of them rush back, both of them also laughing.
“There's no track,” Vic pants out, shoving Chanse when he shoves them, “We went nowhere.”
“Sissy forgot,” he tells them, looking lovingly at Angela, “What's the route?”
“Behind, back, loop.” she explains choppily and both Vic and Arasha look to Chanse for a translation.
“Through the aisle behind us, down this one, and back to you?” he clarifies, grinning at Angela's thumbs up before turning to Vic, “Easy.’
They grin back, “Gonna kick ass,” they tell him, “Gonna win.”
He squints at them, “Yeah right,” he pushes back, readying himself to go, "I'm faster.”
Vic scoffs and shakes their head, both of them looking at Angela when she starts counting.
“Three, two, one, go!” she yells for the second time that day, watching excitedly as her two friends race off and turn the first corner.
Angela watches with lidded eyes, happily accepting her bottle again as her two friends race. She drinks slowly, holding up three fingers and lowering one when Chanse zooms past her.
“Three laps?” Arasha clarifies, relaying the info to the other littles quickly as they both do a sharp u-turn, “Good job drinking cutie.”
She hums contently, focusing on her friends as they complete their second lap, followed by a third that is finished by Chanse a few seconds ahead of Vic.
“Best two outta three,” Vic tells him, grinning when he nods.
‘Three’, ‘Two’, ‘One’ Angela signs as she gets towards the end of her shake, both of them rocketing off again. She sinks further into Arasha as the neutral hums quietly, subconsciously rocking the little.
By the time the race is over and Chanse has won again, Angela is half asleep.
“No nap,” Vic reminds them as they let the scooter fall to the floor. They take her hand and gently tug her out of Arasha's lap, “Gotta be big soon.”
Angela groans as she stands, smiling back gratefully at the woman when she holds her steady, “Sleepy,” she whines, easily accepting hugs from the other two littles, “Nap time.”
“Celsius?” Vic offers, yelling at Chanse indignantly when he shoves them, “I meant after!”
He shrugs, laughing when they push him back. The two of them wrestle each other to the floor, giggling as they play fight.
“Aren't they silly?” Arasha stage-whispers to Angela, making sure she doesn't grow upset from the fake fighting, “Maybe if they get up quickly we can grab some more candy before finding your caregivers to age up.”
They both scramble to their feet, hopping back on their scooters to return them to their hiding place before running back to the other two.
Angela looks up at Arasha hopefully, holding her arms up to her while opening and closing her fist that's not holding her bottle, “Up?” she asks hopefully, “Please.”
“I'm not a caregiver,” she reminds the little gently, brushing her hair behind her ear as she stands, “Do you want me to go find your mama?”
“We got it,” Vic says confidently as they nudge Chanse forward, but he just huffs at them.
“Can't carry her very long,” he reminds them, rolling his eyes, “I'm eight.”
“Bubba no havta,” Angela tells them, reaching forward to take both of their hands, “Big girl.”
Vic and Chanse smile at her, one taking her bottle from her while the other pushes her pacifier in her mouth to stop her from chewing on her lip, “Big girl.” they echo back with a giggle.
“Alright minions,” Arasha calls from a few feet ahead, “Let's go find some sugar and caffeine to misappropriate.”
The three littles follow behind her, Angela happily swinging her arms between them.
“What misappropate?” Angela asks curiously, looking between her and the other two littles who shrug.
Arasha hums, crouching behind the couch and gesturing to the trio to copy her, “It's a fancy word for take.” she explains as she slowly guides them all towards the kitchen, smiling at all the winks the other adults send their way while they pretend to not see them.
“I got candy!” Vic calls once they're in the kitchen, rushing over to where they know the candy is while Chanse finds energy drinks for Vic and Angela.
“Help?” Angela asks Arasha quietly as she gently tugs her towards the sink by her sleeve. She holds the now empty bottle over the sink, struggling to open it before looking over at her again.
Arasha coos quietly, helping the little open the bottle and clean it before drying it and placing it with the rest of the miscellaneous little supplies in the kitchen. “Good job, Angie.” she praises as she gives her a high-five.
Angela grins, turning around to find Chanse and Vic divvying up the various candies in front of them with the two energy drinks waiting further away.
She reaches for the can, pouting when Arasha gently takes her hand while the two littles slide it further away, “Mine.”
“No caffeine for littles,” Vic reminds her, sliding a pile of candy in front of her, “ ‘specially babies.”
“Not a baby.” she grumbles under her breath as she tears open a starburst and pops it in her mouth.
“Definitely not,” they agree sarcastically, giggling when the sarcasm goes over her head, “Ready to grow up?”
Chanse shrugs, “I got more time, I'm gonna stay little.”
Vic rolls their eyes and playfully shoves him, “Was talkin’ to Angie.” they tell him, laughing when he pushes them back.
“Mama?” Angie asks quietly, rocking back and forth on her feet with a sleepy smile, “Want mama.”
“Obviously,” Vic tells her before Arasha can cut in, taking her hand, “We find your mama first.”
The group collects their treasures and heads towards the Pit Stage to find Amanda and Tommy waiting for them as they talk quietly on the Bit City couch.
“Mama!” Angela calls from the door, dropping both little's hands and running towards her caregiver. Amanda scoops her up the second she's in reach, showering her face with kisses while Angela giggles.
“Hi bug, did you have fun?” she asks as Chanse reaches the couch and slides himself between her and Tommy.
Angela nods excitedly, opening and closing her mouth to speak before giving up with a small pout, ‘Sorry’ she signs, ‘Voice off’
“What she say?” Vic asks curiously, laying themself across the top of the couch, “Never learned it.”
“The first one was sorry,” Arasha answers proudly, walking towards the group to say goodbye to the littles, “I've been studying a bit for Angie.”
Angela looks up at her in shock, tears welling in her eyes. She reaches towards her for a hug, launching herself at Arasha once she's squeezed onto the couch beside Amanda.
‘Thank you’ Angela signs, pressing a hesitant kiss to her cheek, ‘I love you’
Arasha grins at her, ‘I love you’ she signs back before adding one Angela doesn't know.
She tilts her head curiously as she repeats it again, copying the woman when she does it a third time.
“Cutie,” she explains, “Well, it's actually just cute,” she admits, “But it's close enough.”
Angela beams, pulling her into a tight hug before Amanda picks her back up, time running out before they have to start filming.
Arasha says her final goodbyes and heads off before Vic's question is fully answered, “She said her voice is off, sometimes she's not very vocal.”
Vic hums and watches as Tommy says goodbye to everyone as well, leaving the three littles alone with Amanda.
“It's time to grow up, angel,” she coos, unclipping the teether from her shirt, “You too tornado.”
Angela reaches back towards Vic and pulls them down towards her, giggling when they flop onto the couch on top of Chanse's lap, their head landing on Amanda's thigh.
“You're fun, Angie,” they tell the little while attempting to keep Chanse from tickling them, “Thanks for playin’ with me.”
She hums, gently patting their head as she buries her face into Amanda's neck, ‘Bye’, she signs blindly towards the other two littles, ‘I love you’.
Both littles echo her goodbye, but only Vic closes their eyes as they hesitantly tuck their face into Amanda's stomach.
The caregiver coos quietly and moves one of her hands to run it through Vic's hair while the other rubs Angela's back.
Amanda hums comfortingly as the time stretches on, her eyes drifting between the three littles even if she mainly focuses on Chanse. He's contently drawing shapes on Vic's stomach while Angela holds his hand, waiting quietly for his friends.
Vic looks up first but doesn't speak, silently reaching towards the table to crack open their energy drink. They take a long and careful sip following it with a content sigh before they look over at Chanse who's still tracing designs on them.
They slide off his lap, sitting themself on his empty side, “Good to see you kiddo,” they murmur as they ruffle his hair, suppressing a laugh when he snaps his teeth at them, “As vicious as ever.”
“Chansey is a big teddy bear,” Angela says, voice muffled from her face still being tucked in Amanda's neck. She pulls her head back, smiling when he pulls on her hand, “I need caffeine.” she reminds him, sliding out of Amanda's lap to grab the can.
She quickly downs half of the drink before turning back to the couch with a blush, “Hey Vic.” she mumbles, pushing through her embarrassment to sit between Chanse and Amanda so he can climb into her lap.
Vic rolls their eyes at her, bumping their shoulder against hers, “You're a little,” they state easily, “I don't care why you didn't tell me, I'm just happy you're seemingly feeling better about it now.”
They accept Angela's tight hug, laughing at Chanse's indignant yell from being stuck in the middle of it, “Didn't know you had such a cuddly side.”
He huffs as they break apart, resting his head on Angela's shoulder, “I love Angie,” he tells her honestly, a soft smile growing on his face when she starts carefully brushing through his curls, “Usually we cuddle when I'm big and she's small or we're both small, this is special.”
Angela hums in agreement, smile growing when Amanda wraps her arm around both of them, “I never get enough Chansey time,” she agrees, tilting her head up to kiss Amanda while he's distracted looking at Vic, “But he's still his hyperactive self most of the time.”
Chanse nods, pulling Vic back towards him so all four of them are curled together again, “Stay until you have to go?” he asks hopefully, looking at the adults with hopeful eyes, “Then I'm gonna go play with Ian.” he adds before anyone can worry about what he's going to do when they all have to film.
Angela and Amanda immediately agree but Vic hesitates, “I don't want to intrude,” they mumble, not sounding like their usual confident self, “You guys are a family and-”
But before they can continue Angela cuts them off, “I know you're not Smosh, but you're definitely still family.” she insists, chuckling when Chanse pulls them closer.
“Like a distant cousin,” he tells them, “But a cool one we love.”
Vic laughs with the other two adults, accepting Chanse's hand as they take another sip of their Celsius, “You're incorrigible.” they tell him fondly and he shrugs.
“So are you,” he pushes back before leaning over to whisper in Amanda's ear, “What's that?”
“It's a weird way to call you adorable,” Vic offers when they overhear him, not elaborating further, “But I guess you're right.”
They all fall into a peaceful quiet until Tommy walks back over, scooping Chanse out of Angela's lap and kissing his temple before placing him down in front of him, “It's time to go find Ian,” he tells the little as he pulls him into a hug, “Be good for dada, ok?”
“I'm always good,” he snarks back, hugging all four adults before running out of the stage towards Ian's office.
The three on the couch stand and walk towards where the next video is set up, but Angela pulls Vic back behind the other three.
“Thank you,” she murmurs, cutting them off before they can correct her, “I know I don't have to,” she adds, knowing exactly what their response will be, “But every good experience means a lot.”
Vic shrugs, unable to think of a good response, “I'm always down to be little and have fun,” they tell her, “Now that includes another one of my best friends.”
