When one thinks of a person of talent, they think of those who have taken positions of leadership. Those with more smarts than brawn. Anyone of particular repute that has made their way up in the world.
But to Garen, his closest friend and mentor would always be that one particular person that came to mind. Someone with such an innate talent for communing with the elementals and life itself all around them that they were considered close in likeness to that of a padjali. Who’s words of wisdom had saved Garen during a time of daunting persecution and fear for his life. Who let time and patient heal all wounds even when he had no need to use his white magicks to do so.
Ryme… his first crush and partner who Garen could always depend upon through thick and thin. One he knew was unobtainable for what he so desired, but just being in close proximity to their nature was enough. Ryme had changed him as a person during his darkest hours, and in turn would Garen lend his life for him in a heartbeat. He was just that special of a person to not only him, but to the very world with what he would go on to accomplish.
