   Summary

   Fifteen-year-old Nira has always known what strength is for.

   Raised among the last surviving Viltrumites, she knows the strong conquer, the weak submit, and failure is corrected—or removed. But when an accident strands her on a strange Earth populated by heroes, Nira discovers a world that seems to have everything backwards.

   For some reason the strong protect the weak, the weak demand things from the strong, and people here don't like it when she takes the food they offer. But she really likes their food. A lot. So she stays.
