Blue and brown eyes look up from the shielded bench. “Think the others are wondering where we are?” She asked, her tender eyes on his freckled face.
Pattering
“I hope not, Kai would kill me if he thought I was keeping you out in the rain, again.” He beams, watching her sit forward to feel the refreshing drizzle blow on her.
“I think my brother forgets I'm the master of water.” She lays back against his warm jacket and both look up at the lighting above, it spreading like veins across the sky while he turns to watch her glorious face light up. Her brown eyes fluttered with gold in them.
“Hmm.” Jay hums, getting up.
“Want to dance in the rain?” He asks, putting his hand out and Nya lifts a curious brow.
“You really want to anger Kai, don't you?”
“Not really, but I'd like to show my Yang a good time. And you can tell him I pushed you to do this.” The woman takes his hand.
“I will be glad to just walk around in the rain, Jay.” She tells him and then they begin walking, and both their ears listen.
Pit-pattering
Boom
Crash
Jay's freckles lit up under the thunder as he casually mimicked the sound with his mouth. “You know it would be so cool if I could control thunder too. Like Master of Lightning and Thunder, a complete set.”
“I think that is what sound does, but I think I could make something to produce that sound as you shoot bolts.”
Jay beams, turning to her. “I love you and…” He leans in, his hair dripping on her. “Let's use it on Kai and make him jump like a cat.”
Nya snickers, moving his unfurled curls behind his ear. “Get back at him for making that stupid popping noise.” She suggests and Jay nods frantically.

Kai peers out the windows, and at his sister standing in the rain with Jay, soaked.
Cole meanwhile dipped his chopsticks into his noodles and began scarfing his food. “Slow down Cole, your choke!” Zane states.
“It's fine Zane, you've seen me do this before. Skylor, this is so good!” Cole munched as the red head glanced at them and went back to other customers.
Lloyd looks at his brothers and then outside at Jay and Nya walking away. “Where are they going?”
“No idea.” Kai mutters, and turns back to his bowl and phone.
Lloyd sits down next to him. “What are you looking at?” Lloyd questions, leaning in and Kai moves the phone away.
“Nothing.”
Cole picks up the phone. “Wow, that's fancy.”
“Cole!” Kai snags the phone back as his brother eats his noodles with a chill smile.
“You gonna try to do that?” Cole then asks and Lloyd peers at Kai's phone, and the Yin Yang designs.
“Oh.” He peers to Skylor talking to her customers with a bright grin. “When?”
“What are we talking about?” Zane looks over as Kai glares at Cole.
“Hey Zane, I gotta use the restroom, wanna come with me?” Cole gets up, taking his now empty bowl.
“Sure, though I don't need to.”
Kai gets up. “I'll go too, so maybe Glacier doesn't happen.”
Zane looks at Kai. “I don't see how a glacier can form here, it would take more years.”
Cole furrowed with his grin as his bowl up on the rack and watched it leave and headed to the restroom with his buddies.
Lloyd finally uncups his mouth. “HAHA-

Nya's head lowers itself against the warm chest of her Yin.
Pit-pattering
And watches as the rain decorates the world in a soft grey. “Rain, is it often said that is the calmest and the saddest scene in movies.”
Nya peers at him and his sparking eyes. “Really now, so what scene is this?”
“The scene where the guy and girl kiss.” Jay smirks and gets shoved by his Yang gently.
“You save that for later, move star.”
Jay chuckles quietly. “So there's a later?”
“We can sleep in the same room, Jay.” She smiles at his joking tone.
“I know, but… .I'm just happy there's a later, I think I would get nervous out in the open.”
“You are always a shy guy in bed too.” Nya sips her coffee as her boyfriend's eyes widen and his face turns so red.
She smiles with her side eye and Jay just quietly smiles back. “And you're the most beautiful woman when I look at you.” He says and Nya beams.
Crash
Jay smiles as he pulls away from her face and feels her scarred cheek.
Boom
Crack
Crash
Jay squinted his eyes as suddenly the hair on his neck stood up and he turned to the sky, where endless streaks of lightning expanded far beyond his eyes. “Huh?”
Cracks
ZAP
Jay stood up as more lightning suddenly began sparking above. Cracking, booming, and then wind began moving his wet curls.
Nya gets up too and eyes the multitude of lightning streaking constantly above. “You're not causing that right?” She asked as the wind curled her wet hair.
“I don't think so?” Jay mutters and stares up and feels the sparks in the air charging… .And moving towards.
“NYA!” He shoves her as suddenly- BRIGHT LIGHT ENGULFED HIM.
Booom
Flicker
Lloyd looks up as the lights dim.
“This storm is going to get more dangerous.”
“Huh?” Lloyd peers at Zane who stood up.
“Pixal just informed me that a bigger, possibly stronger supercell is forming here in the city, with a lot of rain and lightning.” Zane states and each ninja stare at each other.
“I'll call Nya to come back.” Kai picks up his phone.
SHATTER
ZAZZZZZZZ-CRACK
Skylor and other patrons looked up at the now smoking lightbulbs.
ZZZZZZZ-BOOM
Lights went off again, this time zapping in front of the diner, and people yelled as the boys all got up.
Cole groaned silently. “Jay isn't responding to my texts.”
“Nya isn't answering, great.” Kai leered.
“We'll catch up to them, let's figure out if the city is out of power or just around here, or see if that is normal.” Lloyd moves his hands to calm them and looks to Zane and the nindroid began a remote scan.
Skylor meanwhile walks to them. “If any of you need help.”
Boom
More lights zapped the ground and at cars that then smoked with melted rims. The ninja looked at each other and all just bolted out… .Leaving the redhead. “I'll be here… .Cleaning glass.” She eyes the shatter bulbs with a tired huff.
Until a red ninja walks pauses in the doorway. “You can join us, cherry blossom."
Skylor smiles a little at him. “I think I'll join you, wait up fireball.” And she heads to the back for her gi.

“JAY!”
The woman lifts him as he stands wobbly. “That was a lot.” His glowing eyes dimmed as he peers up at the streaks of lightning still crossing the clouds.
BOOM
Pitpattering
Nya's brows lifted as suddenly the sky began to tear up rapidly, sending more aggressive droplets down upon them. Jay covered her head with his arm and flinched at the jet-like downpour. “Um, this is strange right?”
Nya nodded. “Yep, let's get back to the guys!” She grips his drenched sleeve and begins moving as Jay behind her stumbles a bit.
Rinnnrrinnng
“That's going to be annoying.” He whispers until finally they both after splashing through the knee deep water, witness the streaks of lighting seemingly feeling. Water slowly, sun shining right on the confused pair.
“What the heck?” Nya lets go of Jay's wrist.
Whisssh
“Did it just vanish?”
Nya looks at Lloyd's green Gi as the others then look at them.
