Summary
Jean Grey has only one purpose in life: revenge.
When she comes of age, she joins her country’s war against Mi-Guk, determined to destroy the kingdom responsible for her family’s death and find her sister she lost on that fateful day. But during one fateful battle, Jean accidentally reaches out with her telepathy and unknowingly connects with the most infamous soldier on the battlefield—the Devil of the Field, who flies under the feared flag of Spider.
She is visited by a cute brownhaired knight named Peter Parker (Who is most definetly not the Devil of the Field wink wink*) who fights on her side, which warms her previously thought barren heart—and, rather unexpectedly, seems determined to keep her alive.
As the two are drawn together amid a brutal war, Jean’s search for revenge begins to collide with something she never expected to find: trust, love, and a reason to question everything she thought she knew.
A story of war, revenge, loss, love, and finding the second part of yourself in the middle of war.
Also for those scared off by the tags do not fear! Jean Grey and Peter Parker are guarenteed a happy ending!
