    She tried it again and it beeped again. By then the queue behind him had stopped waiting for food and started watching him.

    "Still declined."

    He should have told her to cancel the order and gone home, yet what he did next was open his mouth and talk.

    "Okay, hear me out," he said. "Can I use face card?"
