    Following the crash landing of the Cyberlife Land Surveyor Ritter on an uncharted desert planet, pilot Gavin Reed is left to scavenge the parts needed to repair the ship. Ritter is far from the first vessel to become stranded on the planet, leaving no shortage of wreckages for Gavin to explore. But things take a turn when he encounters another survivor: a strange robot known as "Nines."
