   Summary

Jayce had gone missing years ago. Lost to the feverish pursuit of something in the same mountains that had almost claimed the lives of him and his mother decades past. Viktor, alone, dying, and desperate to find out what had taken Jayce follows the coordinates left in one of Jayce's coded journals.

Viktor doesn't expect to come back, but he couldn't have expected what waited for him in that cave. Memory folded like damascus steel, and he can feel Jayce inside of it. Or something pretending to be him.
