   Summary

Eleven years ago, Baelor sailed for Dragonstone with his wife, his household, and his hounds, leaving his youngest brother behind in the Red Keep.

   Baelor wrote. Maekar never answered.

Now he returns a widower, with two children at his side, only to find that the boy who once followed him everywhere has grown into a man he barely recognises, beautiful, sharp tempered, and carrying eleven years of hurt Baelor never knew was there.

Then Daeron tells him he intends to see them wed.

“He has not been little for some years,” his father reminds him.
