   Summary

   He placed a hand on each of James’ shoulders, following his instincts and sliding his touch down along his arms, feeling the lean, yet defined musculature there. James was always so warm to the touch. He followed down each arm to the elbow and then continued up over his forearms, leaning forwards over James’ back as he did, while still keeping his weight balanced on his own knees. 

   It wasn’t until he was holding James by the wrists that he realized the implication of their positioning. Namely that he had the man face-down on the bed beneath him, that he was straddling his hips, and that he was ostensibly pinning his arms, even if his grip wasn’t truly tight or domineering. 

   (On the way back from Constantinople, Sherlock and James spend a night together in a Paris hotel room.)
