A IS FOR AQUA
You are Aqua! You are the second shortest human, and you wear a big light blue shirt, red shoes and red ribbons (you dyed them yourself). Your skin is also light blue. Your hair is long and black, and your eyes are red. Asgore says you look "just like" and then he stops. He's sad but you know he's really impressed because you look like Kris, which you are very proud of, because it means you look human!
B IS FOR BLUE
Blue is blue. He wears a tutu and has a round nose. He holds hands with Yellow. He dances because he wants to find love in his steps. He taught you how to spin and dance and you dance with him and with the other girls. He found you hidden in the foyer when you were very little, although it never happened.
C IS FOR COUNT
Count Is when you say One, Two, Three and touch your fingers. Count is when Flowery says you have a very important mission and that he counts on you. Seth counts on you to not to stab them with your bullet pattern. Yellow counts the pages in his scripts. Asgore counts on you to make him happy, though It's more that Flowery counts on you to make Asgore happy, because Asgore never said that but Flowery did. You like to count to the biggest number (999999) and then you laugh because 999999 Is the silliest number.
D IS FOR DREAM
You have a dream to have fun and play all the time. Being human means playing, so you play. The best toys to play with are knifes, the sharper the better, so you play with knives. Blue gave you a toy knife to play with because "only big girls play with real knives", which is lame. At least you have your bullet pattern.
E IS FOR EVERYTHING
Everything here was created by the misty shadow of the Dark Fountain. Every Darkner stays away from it, because they're afraid. A human made it, which means Kris made it. Kris is Asgore's human child. Kris is doing something important that requires making Fountains. You are very happy that they are making Fountains, because it means you have a whole world to play with!
F IS FOR FLOWER
Flowers are plants that make pollen. Flowers are what you give to your girlfriend to marry her. Flowers are very pretty things that must be cared for and protected. Humans are not Flowers, but Flowers can be human.
G IS FOR GREEN
Green wants to be a chef. Green makes a lot of good food, and after eating it you feel hungry. Green knows how to get to the cooking knives but they won't tell you the lock combination, which is mean. Green tried to offer some food to Asgore, but he refused it. You thought about giving some of your leftovers, because maybe he was shy and still surprised that you could walk and talk, but again he said no. Green is very sad that Asgore won't try their food.
H IS FOR HEALTHY
Humans are healthy because they water themselves and eat sunlight through their clothes. They also eat food, like everyone does. You wonder if all humans have a Green or a Toriel to cook the sunlight for them.
I IS FOR INNATE
Innate means that you have a talent and that you've always had that talent. You have a lot of things that are innate, and it's fun. But sometimes your innate memories make you feel things that you don't understand; you miss people you used to know, you miss seeing Toriel, and you miss the fun you had on your last birthday, although it never happened.
J IS FOR JUNE
June second is when Toriel and Asgore got married. Asgore took you all to his wedding, because you and your friends were the bouquet. You clung to Toriel's side the whole time, and Seth walked ahead because they wanted to be brave despite Orange wanting to be brave. Green had made the snacks. Blue and Yellow kissed for the first time. Flowery did the coolest dance moves. Everybody was close to everybody, and you were all wearing white, although it never happened.
K IS FOR KNIFE
Butterknife, pocketknife, steaknife, bulletknife, letterknife, toyknife, stageknife, fakeknife, breadknife, tomatoknife, gardenknife and Aquaknife. Those are all the knives you know. You can't wait to learn about all the other knives!
L IS FOR LADY
Some Darkners think you are a lady, which is wrong because you are a girl. You like being called a lady though, so you let the Darkners who call you lady call you lady, though they don't call you a little lady like Blue does sometimes and just call you lady without the little. The Darkners that call you lady are these pink mantis monster-like women, wearing long and fancy kimonos, and they follow you around when you are in the Flower Castle. They say their are your "women in waiting", which makes you a bit sad because you don't want to keep women waiting, because it's not nice to keep someone waiting. They are okay playmates, but they are great at telling bedtime stories.
M IS FOR MOMMY
Toriel is your second mommy. Toriel is the mommy of Asriel and Kris. Kris has a different mommy, but Blue says you don't have to be a monster to have a monster mommy and that you don't have to be a human to have a human mommy. Your mommy didn't want you because you were too small, so she came all the way here and left you in the Castle, somewhere in the foyer. You were hidden behind some boxes and Blue was the one to find you, although none of that ever happened.
N IS FOR NO
Asgore always says no. You ask if you can play, he says no. You ask if he can watch you dance, he says no. You ask if you can throw bullet knives at him, he says no. You don't like the word no, because It means you can't play.
O IS FOR ORANGE
Orange is your big sister. She found the perfect way to be human, which Is to be very small and have very big ears and a tail. She is a crybaby because she says she can kick your butt but then you hit her with a bullet knife and then you defeat her and she says you cheated because her bullet magic isn't strong enough. Every day, she trains to be become the strongest of all Flowers, although you've been around for only a day.
P IS FOR PETAL
A petal is part of a flower. Hair is the petals of your head. Fingers are the petals of your hands. One time, Green cut their finger while slicing ham and a small drop of petals came out, although it never happened.
Q IS FOR QUESTION
A question Is a sentence that ends with a curved symbol (?) This is a question? Your question is "what does it mean to be human?". You found the answer very fast, but many of your friends still struggle with it. Seth struggles with it a lot, because they look at the mirror and always look a little sad, then shake their head and write something down. You don't look at what they write after looking at the mirror because it would make you sad. You read what they write after they laugh or say "I've gotta write this down!" because it's fun, even if you don't understand the words.
R IS FOR RESEARCH
Asgore Is busy doing research to find December Holiday. He thinks she was in a Dark World with Kris and that is why nobody was able to find her. You know all that because you eavesdropped on him. Flowery told you not to eavesdrop on the boys' talks, but when you promised not to eavesdrop again you crossed your fingers behind your back, so you still can. You don't know why Asgore Is so focused on researching when he should focus on having fun. He's with you, with your friends! He can have fun! Why can't he see it?! It's so unfair!!
S IS FOR SETH
Seth Is older than you by many years, though they are not as old as Blue, Yellow, and Green. you've seen Seth change their appearance constantly, having short hair a moment then braided hair the next. Right now they're wearing their hair long with a big cowlick that sticks out. They came here by boat to learn more about the world, but they had to stay because something bad happened in their home country which meant they could never go there again, although it never happened.
T IS FOR TEA
The cafe serves all kinds of teas and drinks because they cost less than food. You like herbal tea, the kind with bromide in it, because the mineral going crunch when you chew it feels very nice. Seth doesn't like it when you chew your tea, and they say that Asgore should try and stock up on something else, but then Green gets very quiet in the way that tells you they're sad and Seth apologises and says that they're just worried Asgore isn't eating enough. But Asgore does eat enough: he always finishes his pickles and the meals Toriel brings him.
U IS FOR UNGLATE ANGULAT UNGULATE
An ungulet ungulate is a monster with hooves. Carol Holiday has hooves. Rudy Holiday has hooves. December Holiday had hooves.
V IS FOR VOLUME
A volume is a type of book. A volume starts with I, then the next starts with II, and so on. Seth wants to write volumes, and they want to write them about your friends. You don't care about reading, but you want a volume full of your drawings because it would be very funny to have drawings inside a book instead of words.
W IS FOR WIN
If you win against the lightners, you will get to be with Asgore forever. But the Dark World is dark, which means no light breaks through (Seth says the seven suns are the lamps and that the lamps aren't enough), which means you will 'starve to death'. Starving means you are very hungry all the time and your tummy hurts. You don't mind starving, because Green is always busy cooking something, so if you ever starve to death you'll ask them nicely to make you your favorite sweets.
X IS FOR XILOPHONE
You don't know what a xilophone is. Maybe it is the secret behind being human. But then, why does a piano feel so important?
Y IS FOR YELLOW
Yellow always holds hands with Blue, and Blue made matching Mr. Butterfly wings for Yellow. Yellow is a cowboy because he wants to be one. Yellow is very good at doing goofy voices and picking you up. Yellow cries from laughter when Flowery cracks a pun. Yellow cries when he watches a performance. Yellow cries and tells you that he's sorry and that he will do everything to make the plan work. Yellow carries with him a gun which he uses to shoot all kinds of things from, excluding knives. Yellow keeps by his work desk a gun with one bullet.
Z IS FOR ZONE
A zone Is a part of a territory. This world has zones, like the Cliffs and the Garden and the big mountain where the Flower Castle is. There are stairs that lead to the Castle. There are a lot of them. Every year, there is a race to climb the stairs top to bottom, and the Festival ends with one of Blue's dances and Yellow's performances and Seth's recitals and Green's banquet. Flowery will show Asgore the Festival since today is the Festival day. This year you did all the flyers and posters and drawings to promote the event. You can't wait to see all the people and Flowers you will meet, all the playmates you'll make and friends you'll find, although you are scared that none of it will ever happen.
