   Summary

"You don't even have a dog."

See, even Eva Stratt is wrong sometimes. Ryland didn't tell her everything about himself, and now he is very grateful for it, because this one secret he kept from her saved his life. He is still walking on Earth. He is with his brothers (and Court's mysterious, annoyingly attractive colleague?). He is NOT drugged and in space, shipped off like a sacrifical lamb.

However, Eva Stratt is not to be underestimated. The Hail Mary is grounded, and is waiting for him. For the desperate people of the Earth to hunt him down like prey and bring him back to face his destiny.

So Ryland has to run, and run, and run, and never look back.
