    Simon was indulging, and he knew it. He'd been careful when he first arrived on Erid. Laid boundaries, placed walls, all out of necessity to keep himself safe. But the months went by and Simon found that true safety lie not in isolation, but in Grace. So if he would allow this, Simon could be a little selfish. At least under the cover of night, when daring choices were obscured in the long shadows of darkness.
