Chapter Text
(The Mila Tree)
Robin: We owe you a great debt, milady.
Tiki: Ah! You... You have it...
Robin: Erm ...What, exactly?
Tiki: You have power... like mine.
Robin: I... do?
Tiki: I... Ah... Forgive me... I am still groggy from my slumber. My words outpace my thoughts.
Say'ri: Are you all right, milady?
Tiki: I am fine... Just very tired... I haven't the strength to join you in the fray. Not yet. But I will call the people together, in prayer, for an end to this conflict.
Robin: May I... offer to escort you to a place to rest, milady?
Say'ri: I can accompany you as well, milady.
Tiki: *Yawn...!* Thank you both. You're very kind. I'll manage on my own, but please, return here later and wake me... I'll be gathering strength until then so I can help you.

(Camp - The Mess Tent)
Robin: Say'ri? Can I ask you a question?
Say'ri: Aye, Robin. Of course.
Robin: Is Tiki your... goddess?
Say'ri: She is as close to a goddess as you can find. We, like you, Ylisseans, worship Naga. Tiki, known as the Voice, is the inheritor of Naga's power, and the way we receive Naga's will and blessings.
Robin: Oh. I see.
Say'ri: Lady Tiki has a very close connection to Naga... she acts as a sort of messenger.
Robin: Interesting... I know very little of Valm's religion. Or Ylisse's, for that matter.
Say'ri: Ah... Yet you are Ylissean, no?
Robin: Actually, I'm Plegean by blood, but I lost my memories and Chrom sort of adopted me as a Ylissean.
Say'ri: Ah... The Plegeans... I do not know much of them, save some unsavory rumors, but I am happy to help you understand.
Robin: Does Naga... answer prayers? Or... is she more honored as the creator?
Say'ri: From time to time, yes, she answers prayers. She is revered as the goddess who helped slay the fell dragon in days of yore, and is hailed as the protector of man. It is said that her children, the dragonkin, can hear her voice.
Robin: I see. Tiki must be an exceptional woman to carry such a burden.
Say'ri: Aye, she is. Though this is my first time meeting her, tales of her kindness and power are told by many a mother to their little ones in bed.
Robin: How long has she been doing this for? She didn't seem much older than us.
Say'ri: Haha! Several thousand years, good sir! Her work proceeds the establishment of Chon'sin itself!
Robin: Uh... Well, I guess she is a manakete... But that's... a long time.
Say'ri: Indeed... Legend says she fought alongside the Hero King of Archanea: Marth.
Robin: Wow. She... looks good for her age.
Say'ri: 'Tis true, 'tis true... Though many Valmese do not harken to her divine voice as they ought, we Chon'sin treat her with the dignity befitting one of her station.
Robin: That much is obvious... Thank you, Say'ri. I appreciate it.
Say'ri: Any time, Robin...
