   Summary

   Shane never told anyone about what happened. Not his parents, not his best friend, not Ilya. The four years since he got out were supposed to be enough to leave it behind for good. But when a letter arrives asking for fifteen minutes, just to talk, Shane realizes the past is catching up with him. And when the sender decides fifteen minutes isn't enough, Ilya learns exactly how much Shane never said, and they both have to try to survive what comes next.

   This is a story about abuse, psychological wounds, about the anguish of being made complicit in someone else's suffering, and about what it takes to come back from something when you can’t fully leave it behind. Very dark, very heavy angst; also, eventually, two people learning to actually talk to each other.
