Work Text:
Marga had opened a book on mobile phone. "Aaahhh, too bright." She clicked the greyscale button on the button panel and sighed contently.
Britta sat on the couch and asked, "What are you doing?"
"I've turned an unreadable book into a readable one with help of a button."
"What?" Niece was confused.
"The comic book [title] has too much colour, and it's bright, so greyscale is a must."
"Yeah, I read this book bot long ago. It's interesting, but with all the colour, I'd stop reading immediately."
"Some people thing that greyscale is a way to use phone less."
". . . but in some cases, it's the only way to use a phone, or in our situation, to read a book."
"Yeah, no matter how much I would want to read this book, if it were physical only, I'd never read it at all."
"But we can read any digital book the way we need—colour on or off. Greyscale utopia is our reality."
