Whumptober 2026 Day 2: Stranded | "It's dangerous to go alone"
He doesn't know how he got here.
It's dark, extremely dark. A human in those circumstances would be as good as blind. But he's no human, and he can see the faint outline of the wall. His hand reaches out to it gently, as if not sure if it is really there. The wall is smooth, stone carved down to perfection.
There seems to be no source of light at all, he notices as he turns around to gain a clearer view on his situation. Thank Satan for the snake eyes, he thinks bitterly. Or whatever else it is that made him see in the dark. This must be the only time in his life he's actually grateful for them.
