Whumptober 2026 Day 1: I'm Fine | Bloody Smile | Selfish
"You're quite obviously not fine," he states, stopping Crowley who was just beginning to get up from the couch, probably hoping to leave, with an icy glare. What kind of angel, what kind of friend would he be if he just let him get away?
Crowley shows up at Aziraphale's door in the middle of the night.

Whumptober 2026 Day 2: Stranded | "It's dangerous to go alone"
He doesn't know how he got here.
It's dark, extremely dark. A human in those circumstances would be as good as blind. But he's no human, and he can see the faint outline of the wall. His hand reaches out to it gently, as if not sure if it is really there. The wall is smooth, stone carved down to perfection.
There seems to be no source of light at all, he notices as he turns around to gain a clearer view on his situation. Thank Satan for the snake eyes, he thinks bitterly. Or whatever else it is that made him see in the dark. This must be the only time in his life he's actually grateful for them.
Crawly finds himself in a maze.

Whumptober 2026 Day 3: Burns | Hypothermia
The plan wasn't safe. But it was all they had.
As it turns out, it wasn't any of those things. Maybe except for being definitely unsafe. With that they were one hundred percent right.
Aziraphale and Crowley switch bodies, everything should go fine. But it doesn't.

Whumptober 2026 Day 4: Shipwreck | Staying Behind | "Where would you rather die?"
He's lying in bed, staring at the ceiling and thinking of all the things he could be doing instead of travelling for a week to New York (and it'll probably take him at least another week to get back to London). The ship is going at a constant speed, the gentle swaying a second nature to him by now.
There's a change.
There's a change in the air—he can feel it. His angelic senses are particularly great at detecting human suffering.
There's a change to the ship, too. A shudder, a vibration, longer and stronger than before, passes through the room.
Aziraphale gets onboard the Titanic.

Whumptober Day 5: Enemy to Caretaker | Imposter Syndrome | Haircut | "I always make things worse"
It seems like everything that could've gone wrong, has indeed gone wrong. Had Crowley not known Aziraphale better, he'd think it was some divine protection placed on the man, the number of miraculous mistakes definitely too high for a professional like himself, who's been in the field for almost six thousand years. But the angel wouldn't have thwarted him like that, not with the Arrangement, and Crowley seriously doubts anyone else from Heaven would be bothered enough to go down to Earth and do anything themselves.
Crowley fails a job, Aziraphale comforts him about it.

Whumptober Day 6: Kidnapped | Ropes | Multiple Whumpers | "You belong to me"
"Not really talkative, are you?" the man laughs. "Don't worry, I'll make you speak soon enough. You belong to me now, do you understand, angel?" he takes a step forward, and is so close Aziraphale can feel his breath on his face.
He flinches at the use of the word angel. It sounds like an insult, said in that hateful, prideful, tone. His kidnappers have no right to call him the same name Crowley calls him. Used to call him. Aziraphale doesn't have much hope in getting out of here.
Aziraphale is kidnapped, whump ensues
