“Anthony, Anthony can you help me get up here?” The little girl called her brother, pointing at the swing hanging from a tree by the lake. You would find her swinging by the lake or chasing frogs around it almost every day, all day.
Well, she had every right to do so, it wouldn’t be so long before her princess responsibilities would lock her in her room all day, between books and training sessions, she wouldn’t be able to do anything else.
The elder boy ran towards his sister, royal guards followed behind. He picked her up and positioned her on the swing. Just as he was about to start pushing her forward a voice interrupted them.
“Hey! don’t swing without me” Aaron, her other brother.
The three always swung together, during Anthony’s afternoon break.
Aaron reached where Anthony stood next to the swing, Oceania still sat on it. Oceania shifted to the side so that Aaron could sit next to her.
“aren’t you too big to stop swinging with Oceania?” the eldest prince asked his brother, moving behind the swing to start pushing it forwards.
“No, I am not, you’re the crown prince not me”
“Not a great position, if you ask me "
“Stop arguing you two, Anthony start pushing us forward, you don’t have all day” Oceania spoke, in a tone that is supposed to be commanding.
“Your wish is my command, sunflower” the little girl giggled at the nickname, just like every time someone called her with one.
Soon the swing started going forwards and backwards, going higher and higher with each push, making Oceania feel like she was flying, up in the sky between the fluffy clouds she always dreamed about touching.
Now when people visit the ruins of this medieval castle, they hear stories about a princess with ocean blue eyes who had once lived here, but only the birds can hear her laughter that still lived in these ruins.
