   Summary

   ☆ The first hum that escaped Pony's throat shocked him and Johnny both. His fingers stumbled a second before finding their place again.

   Some more empty phrases followed, until he'd finally strung them together. A warm sensation rose in his cheeks and chest. He continued to hum, still not able to place what he recognized it from.

   He could faintly remember his mama's lap. Being rocked in it while guitar played in the back and his mama and daddy would sing and look at him and be there and alive and it was all he could ask for.

   Or, Johnny plays guitar for a grieving Ponyboy. ☆
