Summary
After failing the last semester of her senior year, Y/N returns home for the summer to stay with her mother and stepfather, expecting nothing more than a quiet few months before going back to finish her degree.
What she doesn't expect is Frank Castle, her stepfather's older, frustratingly attractive neighbor.
Between afternoons by the river, fishing lessons, farm life, and a softer side of Frank she never expected to see, what begins as an innocent summer connection slowly becomes something neither of them planned for.
Y/N came home thinking she'd fallen behind. Maybe slowing down was exactly what she needed.
And Frank had gotten used to the life he had left , until she wandered into it.
