Alina and Genya’s date had been wonderful, but it was now getting late and they sadly both had class in the morning so they decided to end it here, even though they wished they could stay longer.
Alina took out her phone to see which line was quicker for her to go home.
“Oh no” she said, frowning.
“What’s going on?”
“The line I should take to go home is closed on Saturday’s evening, I totally forgot about that.”
“Oh, well you-“ Genya started, but was interrupted by Alina’s rambling
“But that’s fine, I can just take another one, it’ll just be longer, and I kinda need to leave like, now but yeah”
“Or I could give you a ride home”
“What?”
“I have my motorcycle, I can drive you home, it’s not a big deal. Plus, I’d like to spend a little more time with you” Genya explained, winking.
“Oh I kinda forgot you came with a motorcycle, that’s hot”
Genya chuckled. “Glad to know that’s what you think. I’m taking that as a yes then?”

The next morning, when Alina woke up, it was far too bright for what was supposed to be 8am. She looked at her alarm clock on the side of her bed and groaned.
“So much for trying to not be late for class.”
She heard Genya giggling next to her, and she realised that she actually did not mind very much.
