Summary
A man is found dead in a Kansas grain silo, twelve feet up the wall. On the inside of his left wrist is a small geometric tattoo that appears in no database.
Then more bodies turn up on other continents. They have no connections, no shared history, and the same faded mark. Lena Myers is the one person at Hawthorne who might understand what's happening.
As the investigation widens, Lena finds that the real question isn't who is behind it, but why now. And she may not be the first person like her that the world has used up.
