Summary
With his heart racing, Felix takes a deep breath. He exhales the warm air through his mouth, and his breath is visible in the cold mountain air. "You know… I sort of hoped I'd have a rebound hookup on this trip." He's already laughing a little in at himself embarrassment. "To celebrate, and all that…"
Chan turns his head to look at him, and his face comes into view just as a slow grin spreads across his face. "You've got lots of things to celebrate on this trip, huh?"
"They increase by the hour," Felix answers.
They both laugh.
Felix's hand slides into his jacket pocket. He wraps his fingers around the small bottle. Before he can overthink it or second guess himself, he pulls it out and holds it up between them.
Chan's eyes are on the clear plastic. Felix is sure he doesn't need to read the label to know what it is.
Fresh off a breakup, Felix is looking for some adventure; he gets exactly that in the form of a stranger on a stuck aerial cable car.
