   Summary

After spending several incredible months together, Ilya breaks up with Shane with no real, believable, explanation. Several weeks go by, and Shane gets his answer: a paparazzi photo of Ilya and a woman, who Shane recognizes from photos as Svetlana, leaving a five-star restaurant in Boston. The ring is blinding.

Devastated, Shane pours every fiber of his being into forgetting Ilya (even though he missed him more than he thought possible) and being the best captain that Montreal deserves. Until he meets Daniel, a cardiothoracic surgeon, who never leaves Shane wondering how he feels.

But no matter how kind, loving, and fantastic in bed Daniel is, Shane can't forget about Ilya. Or his betrayal.

OR, everything that happens Heated Rivalry happens. Ilya goes to the cottage. They come up with the plan for the Irina Foundation. Shane's dad discovers them. They plan for the future. Until Ilya breaks up with Shane.
