   Summary

Under a crown woven of duty and golden lies, Prince James rules a kingdom on the brink.

A bloody rebellion tears through the castle doors—led by the exile everyone thought was dead.

James's brother has returned from the dark.

He wants the kingdom, he wants the throne, and above all, he wants to break the golden sovereign holding it.

Some debts are paid in steel. Others are paid in blood. The worst... in love.
