   Summary

   Buck forgets how to breathe, frozen in shock as Eddie gets comfortable. Eddie twists onto his side, cheek on Buck’s thigh, his hair flopping onto his forehead. 

   “Like this?” Eddie asks, peering up at Buck with one eye.

   Buck nods, unable to speak. Eddie’s in his lap. Eddie’s head is on his lap. 

   Eddie smiles, his lips curling up in a pleased little sigh. Buck’s heart thunders like it wants to beat right out of his chest and fall into Eddie’s hands. 

   “Comfortable?” Buck asks, breathless. Buck wants to thread his fingers into Eddie’s hair. He wants so much. 

   Oh, oh, he wants so much. 

   “Mm,” Eddie hums, snuggling in.
