Summary
The villain is defeated. The civilians are safe. The paperwork can wait.
Izuku Midoriya and Eijirou Kirishima have survived another brutal fight, and the adrenaline hasn't even begun to fade.
To the public, they're two of Japan's most respected professional heroes. Colleagues. Partners in battle. Men who can be trusted to protect the city when everything goes wrong.
But there are parts of their relationship the public knows absolutely nothing about.
And when Izuku turns away from the waiting emergency crews and disappears down a narrow side street, Kirishima knows exactly what that means.
One cigarette. One dark alley. One very dangerous game involving the possibility of being discovered.
Except their responsibilities don't disappear just because they've found a moment alone.
There's still an agency to return to.
A debriefing to attend.
And Izuku has never been particularly inclined to leave unfinished business behind.
